Kiki is a security camera operating system that runs entirely on your terminal. No cloud storage. Entirely private. Secure.
No cloud. No strangers watching your footage.
> See everything. Share nothing.
Don't let anyone spy on your private footage.
When it comes to monitoring your home, discretion and the security of your footage is not an option. It is a duty.
Works with any IP camera
Kiki speaks RTSP and ONVIF, the two protocols supported by virtually every IP camera made in the last decade. Amcrest, Axis, Dahua, Hikvision, Reolink, Tapo and more. If it has a network port, it almost certainly works.
Compatibility data is indicative only and maintained manually; it may not cover every model. If your camera exposes an RTSP or ONVIF stream, it will work with Kiki. Note: battery and solar-powered cameras generally do not support continuous streaming as it is too energy intensive. A wired or PoE camera is required. Kiki Technologies does not guarantee that any camera brand will continue to permit third-party access to their streams via RTSP or ONVIF. Camera manufacturers may restrict or remove this capability at any time through firmware updates or policy changes.

When you access your cameras remotely, your connection goes directly from your device to your Kiki terminal at home. No relay server, no middleman, no third party that could intercept or store your footage.
Kiki Anywhere is built on WireGuard, a modern, audited, open-source VPN protocol with a minimal attack surface (roughly 4,000 lines of code vs. OpenVPN's 100,000+). Every session uses Curve25519 elliptic-curve key exchange, ChaCha20-Poly1305 symmetric encryption, and BLAKE2s message authentication. There are no certificates to manage and no certificate authority that could be compromised.
The tunnel is established directly between your phone or laptop and your Kiki terminal. Video frames, audio, and all control traffic travel exclusively through this encrypted peer-to-peer channel. Kiki's cloud infrastructure is only involved during the initial handshake, used to exchange your public keys and help both endpoints find each other. Once the tunnel is up, the cloud drops out completely.
Remote login uses two-factor authentication by default. Your password is hashed with bcrypt on the terminal and never transmitted in plain text. On successful credential verification, a one-time code is emailed to you, valid for 10 minutes. Only after entering that code is a WireGuard session key negotiated and the tunnel opened. Sessions are strictly non-persistent: closing the browser window fully terminates the session.
Your recordings, thumbnails, and detection snapshots are written exclusively to storage attached to your Kiki terminal. Nothing is buffered, cached, or uploaded to any cloud infrastructure. Not even temporarily. Kiki's servers only ever see encrypted WireGuard packets during tunnel establishment, and those packets contain no video data.
Kiki records and stores everything locally, on hardware you own and control. There are no storage tiers, no monthly limits, and no fees for keeping more footage.
Kiki comes with built-in onboard storage, enough to get started with continuous recording from multiple cameras.
Plug in any USB or SATA hard drive or SSD to expand your storage as much as you need. Kiki detects and mounts it automatically. No formatting tools or technical setup required.
